About Road Raah

Adoption Fee: $10
Domestic Cat
Age: Young Kitten
Sex: Female

This kitten was found on highway 49 around midnight a couple months ago. We believed at the time she had been bit but now we believe she was thrown from a car. She couldn't walk, her was bleeding from the eye, and had road rash on her face. We contacted an emergency vet in Greensboro and they said the best thing we could do for her would be to bring her in to be euthanized. Just like that, without even looking at her, they wanted kill her. We decided to give her a shot, and she lived. She has thrived. She eats around the clock and is getting quite tubby. Her face has healed. She is walking normal. But I can't keep her. I have other kittens brought up by a stray I feed (momma cat has since been fixed) that I am still trying to find homes for. Road Rash is in need it her forever home. She definitely could use a vet visit as she has some skeletal issues where her shoulder blades sit abnormaly high. It doesn't affect her at all, but I am not sure if she was born hthat way or happened when she was tossed out. She also has a best friend that is also looking for a home. If you'd be interested in taking her friend, her name is Chewy. Chewy is a female and auer tiny, although she eats constantly. She is mostly black with white under her chest and her paws.
