An unlikely duo to many, but 6-year-old CHARLIZE (#A1825830) and 8-year-old DENOVAN (#A1825820) are clearly bonded. The dogs entered the East Valley shelter as 'strays' on November 17, but it was acknowledged that they had belonged to a family who moved out of their rental home and left the dogs to fend for themselves. The dogs are not kenneled together, and CHARLIZE appears shut down, until she is in the yard with DENOVAN. Both dogs are gentle and sweet, and it's heartbreaking to think they could be split up. It might be a difficult task to find someone willing to keep them together, but if the village spreads the plight of these two, far and wide, maybe they'll get lucky. Let the sharing begin! The shelter is at 14409 Vanowen St., Van Nuys, CA.
