About Nelson

Nelson is a gorgeous Dog. He is very playful and gets along great with people. Loves toys and running around in the play yard. He was originally found as a stray that was covered in ticks and had been shot in the head. He has been completely vetted, heartworm tested, tick disease tested, and neutered. He is in perfect health. There are a couple of large young dogs that he gets along with. He mostly ignores them. But, he has gone after a few dogs as well. He is not good with cats. He has been introduced to kids here at the rescue and he did fine. But, he is 70 lbs of pure muscle and can send them flying without meaning too. He is really a sweet playful dog that just needs a good home to keep him safe. He knows how to sit and to lay down. He is not food aggressive with people. He is hilarious to watch play with a stuffed animal. Throws it in the air and runs around entertaining himself.
