About Gidget

Gidget is approximately 5 yr old (hard to say based on the horrible living conditions) female, 8 lb. Shih Tzu. She used to be very timid and scared but now that she's coming out of her shell she's showing her true personallity. Gidget came from a hoarding home and cruelty case of over 125 dogs in one house. She very affectionate and docile, does wonderful with kids and other dogs. Loves to cuddle and to go on car rides. Not potty trained yet but learning. Still gets a little nervous when she's carried but learning to trust. She doesn't play with toys but she's starting to play with the kids and other dogs. She has one eye, the other one never developed and is microscopic. She moves around the entire house even though the vet said she only sees shadows from the one eye that works but she goes upstairs and downstairs and jumps on the bed and couch as if she has perfect vision, she has never bumped into anything so I think she can see pretty well. Although her fur is shaved down in the pictures due to matting when she was rescued she will have long hair. $350 Adoption fee includes vaccines, spay, heartworm test, fecal exam, dental, and microchip.
