About General Lee

General Lee great dog friendly to most people when introduced a bit overly anxious when meeting new people, except for people who have a goatee he is very prejudice towards them due to a boarder he stayed with. Otherwise General Lee is could be taken by anyone who wants to give him a loving home. Myself and my brother both have been working with him on the goatee issues by having goatee ourselves which he seems fine with. He maybe best with a female owner, because he was originally the pet&buddy of my girlfriends daughter. He does have a bit of a Neapolian complex any dog bigger than he is, he does get defensive, dogs smaller, or less muscular than he is, he is fine. Cats that don't run away from him and will stand there ground he is fine, however he does have a bit of a prey drive, it is not always active, but he should be kept away from kittens, ferrets and other small animals like that. He has a very, very good sense of smell so if you got kid/kids who like hiding food or what not he would be more than happy to search and eat anything he finds. Honestly I think he'd be great as a search dog he has shown both the smarts for it and the drive to be active, not to mention his good nose. Unfortunately I am unable to think of anymore to put if I do I'll add things that I think about. I sincerely hope you he finds a good home. I wish I had more time to do this I was under the impression that my girlfriend was working on it, but that sadly wasn't the case he has until December 3rd. The it will be to the specs, as much as it will break my heart to take General Lee to the spca I can no longer keep him at my place due to the owner of the place.
