About Rosie

Rosie is an adorable, cuddly, and very energetic dog. She was rescued from the ACC (on the kill list) and needs a forever home. Currently she's stuck in a small apartment with a Dad who works all day and a busy Mom who needs lots of time to study. Although she is a very friendly dog, she does play bite but she has never been aggressive towards us Rosie is very happy in her crate overnight and whenever she is left alone during the day. She does not mess inside her crate, and although she may bark when we leave and return, she soon settles down. We believe Rosie to be between the ages of one and two years. She has a high level of energy and needs at least one long walk per day. Rosie is somewhat house trained, she has started to wait by the door when she needs to do her business outside, but she does have accidents, albeit never in her crate. Background information - Rosie was found chained to a gate by the Bronx Zoo, she is approximately 1-2 years old, of good health, and recently spayed. As far as we know, she is not great with dogs. However, after a while and a slow introduction she seems to be ok. She needs lots of attention and toys to play with. Once she is cuddled up on the sofa, she is quiet and very relaxed. We have had no trouble taking food and toys away from her, she has never been aggressive with us.
