About Boomer18

Boomer is one of the sweetest, most beautiful orange Maine Coon mixes you'll ever meet, but there has been some sadness in his short life. He came to us with his Momma and 7 siblings 2 �%BD+ years ago. He was one of the first kittens to be adopted. Unfortunately, the person who adopted him, experienced many personal changes to his life and wasn't able to give Boomer a stable environment. He was left with various people for long periods due to his owner's unexpected traveling for work. The final issue is his owner's new roommate is allergic to cats. Thankfully, he contacted us and we gladly took Boomer back. Physically, Boomer is in excellent shape, emotionally he is nervous. But, he is in his original foster home where he is loved and is making great progress. He loves attention and to be near you, but he is nervous when you try to pick him up. He loves to be brushed, and will flip from side to side so you get all his fur. He has become close to some of the other fosters in the home, but with his gentle demeanor he gets scared if any of the kitties seem aggressive. His best buddy is Jake, a kitten he likes to hang out with - he knows Jake won't hurt him. He needs a home where everyone will be patient and understanding. You can tell he wants to be a normal kitty, but has had some bad experiences that make him hesitant. He has made so much progress in the last few weeks, it won't take much longer before he forgets his past. Do you have room in your heart and home for Boomer?
