About Ash

Ash is a 3 year-old, 13 pound Chihuahua/Terrier mix. He is shy with new people for the first few minutes and then is in a lap wanting to snuggle. Ash would like a home with a dog friend that can show him the ropes and play with him. He is very submissive to other dogs so wouldn't mind a sister bossing him around at all. Ash is a tiny guy so his forever home should not have small children. He would like a fenced yard so he can safely play and explore, he doesn't have a lot of experience on a leash. Ash came to us from Texas and is not a fan of our Iowa winters. He will happily wear the ugliest Christmas sweater as long as it keeps him warm. Ash loves his warm house, soft blankets to snuggle in, and his foster parents. He loves to give kisses. Ash sleeps in bed tucked in with his foster mom and foster siblings. Ash is kennel trained, but he doesn't need to be kenneled. He is housetrained and he will not bother anything except dog toys. He loves dog toys, so you might find him and a pile of dog toys on the couch when you get home, but everything else will be as you left it. Ash is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped and ready for his forever home.
