We took Slater in a few months ago. He had been abandoned by his owners left chained to a tree. He has been a good dog. Does well on walks with a harness. Pulls a good bit with a collar. He has not been tested with other dogs but has learned to ignore the barking dogs next door. He has gotten used to the kitten in the home after slowly being introduced through the kennel over a period of several days. Slater had been rehomed one time and after supposedly nipping at their young son, they dumped him on the side of the road instead of bringing him back to me like they said they would. Luckily a nice person found him and I saw their post. Unfortunately they were not able to keep him and did bring Slater back to me. I work 70-90 hours a week which leaves Slater kennels most of the day. That is the only reason he needs a furever home. He is still very much a puppy and needs obedience training. He is estimated to be roughly one year old.
