About JoJo

Meet sweet JoJo! He is a very loving Rat Terrier! The vet thinks he is about 7 years old and he weighs 14 pounds. He came in from a hoarder. JoJo was an outside dog and was in horrible shape when he was rescued! He had no hair, bites all over him, an injured leg from a dog fight and was flea infested! Despite all of that he is a loving boy who just wants to be loved! JoJo loves to sleep in the bed now and prefers to be inside! He gets along with all size dogs but would be happy as an only dog too. He uses the doggie door and is doing a pretty good job on his house training! His fur has come in quite well but he is still getting medicated baths and still has some skin issues from long term flea infestation. JoJo has lots of scars that show the rough life he had. His teeth are ground down in the front probably from being in a pen for years. He is very timid to begin with, probably because his experience with people has not always been positive. It takes a little time and effort to win his trust but once he bonds with you, he is yours! JoJo is very high energy and needs a fenced in yard to contain his energy and his curiosity! He has all of his shots, is heartworm negative and has been microchipped and neutered now! He loves kids but would be best with older kids. He has not been cat tested. JoJo is a very special boy and will make someone a very loving and loyal companion! Will you be his new person?
