About Jake

This gorgeous guy is an all American catch. Jake is a 3 year old 40 lbs Collie and Spaniel mix. He is a total cuddle bug sweetheart. His favorite thing is hugs and tummy rubs. He is very humble and meek. A gentleman. He is also gorgeous and those big brown eyes speak words to your heart. He loves making eye contact and getting talked to. He is not very active and doesn't require a lot of attention. He likes sitting in the sun by the patio door and also on the couch watching tv. He is kind of a homebody. He is good with other dogs and loves cats. He will sometimes growl at puppies in his face jumping on him but never aggressive. He will just move to another spot. He isn't a big eater. Will occasionally chew on a bone or toy. He mostly lives to please his humans. He is always watching and observing just waiting for some tummy rub time. He is fine with kids that won't jump or pull on him. He stays right by your side for walks. He doesn't need a leash to stay by your side. Being inside is his favorite place though. He is very affectionate and a perfect family pet. He is an amazingly sweet dog who would do best in a low key and quiet home. Jake is neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines and microchipped. His adoption fee is $400. We require a fully fenced yard and not invisible fence.
