She is a great sweet dog, a rescue who went through the prison puppy training program. We don't k ow her history but based on her responses, we think she may have been abused by a male. She is very smart and loving with her pack and attends doggie daycare 4-5 days per week for socialization and exercise. She is not dog-aggressive whatsoever, but instead starts submissive and indifferent at first, and over time asserts herself to establish her dominance over them. She is however randomly aggressive toward strangers. It used to be solely toward men in hoodies/hats but now it's toward any random adult/child make/female. This is an issue and a potential liability. She's never attacked but she lunges, jumps and nips at clothing. Squirting her with a water botttle stops her in her tracks, but nothing else will. She's very smart and very stubborn and headstrong. She also has a strong prey drive and when she gets hyper focused, she doesn't listen. Aside from this random (and unpredictable) aggression issue, she is a great dog and would do well in a family where she either has another large dog to burn off energy with, or a home where the owner has time to work with her daily....especially someone who can work with her aggression issue. She loves her pack and just wants to be with her family. If interested, please call me.
