About Han Solo

Adoption Fee: $250
Lab
Age: Adult
Sex: Male

Adoption info can be found here in the last paragraph of this pet's profile or by visiting this direct link: http://dfwpuppatrol.com/info/adoption Han Solo ended up on a rural property where lots of dogs get dumped. Some nice people were feeding all the dogs out there, but asked for help so we took Han Solo into our rescue. The poor guy has endured quite a bit...first he almost died after a neutering issue, then he had to go through heartworm treatment. Through it all he persevered and is now a happy, healthy boy! He is your typical Lab....he LOVES food! He is quite a chewer also and can go through a rawhide lickety split! He is crate trained and house trained. The vet estimates him at around 3 years old and he weighs around 70 lbs. Solo gets along pretty well with dogs his size, but is not good with small dogs. He is quite a hunter and loves to try to get the squirrels in his yard. He is friendly, but can be protective of his territory and family once he is settled in. He must have been trained at some point because he is very obedient, knows basic commands, and walks great on leash!
