About Anastasia

Adoption Fee: $300
Border Collie mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Anastasia is still looking for her forever home. She was a homeless dog in Olympic city Sochi, hit by a car. She was brought to the clinic by the people who were the witnesses of the tragic event. Her eye had to be removed during the surgery, but no other serious injuries were found. She was released after the surgery back to streets, but she kept returning to clinic. She was taken a few more times but she kept coming back. She lived in a vet clinic in a small cage until was rescued to the USA. Anastasia is approximately 2 years old, weight around 44 pounds, height around 14 inches, housebroken, vaccinated up to date, checked for heartworms (negative), sprayed, healthy, very obedient. Good on a leash, in a car, loves to eat and sleep, can be left at home alone, no damage to furniture, no separation issues. Very friendly to kids of all ages and adults, loves to be petted. May behave dominant to female dogs and submissive male dogs her size or bigger. Friendly to cats and small dogs. May behave possessive around her bowl and sometimes may feel jealous when other dog is being petted but not her, otherwise has no behavioral issues at all. Due to her tough life on the streets Anastasia does not know how to play with toys, poor dog had no childhood. Please give Anastasia a loving home she deserves! An application to adopt and a fee (due after 2 weeks trial period) apply. The foster home is in PA but I will bring her to other states. Please e-mail if interested. God Bless you!
