About Neaveh

If you are looking to add a sweet pup to your family, please consider Neaveh. Boxer Mix (we think some hound as well). About 2 years old / up to date on all vet / spayed / microchipped/ loving and affectionate. Completed Level 1 & 2 obedience courses. All previous and current vet records / needs to be a single person, couple, or family with older kids (she plays a bit too rough for toddlers and younger kids)/ NO other pets / she is the sweetest and most affectionate girl. Originally rescued with her litter from NC where she was overbred and most likely abused. She is a little timid with new people but warms up when gaining their trust. We got her from the rescue 6 mos. ago with the understanding she was good with cats. That however was not the case. She is silly and playful but calms down and loves to snuggle. She hardly ever loses when playing tug of war, loves taking walks and laying in the sun, but isn't a fan of the cold weather. She does well on car-rides. She is kennel trained - she runs right to her crate when we are getting ready to leave for work in the morning. She hasn't had an accident outside of her kennel for a couple months now. Some days she wets her kennel. We keep a couple towels in her kennel and just switch them out with clean ones when that happens. As sweet and loving as she is to people, she is reactive to other animals. I'm sure it is odd that she needs to go to a home with no other pets, that being the case, if you grew up with dogs but haven't had one recently, she can come with everything needed to start out (bed, toys, kennel, container for food, extra food, dishes, leash, walking harness, etc...) It would be ideal if someone near Green Bay adopts her, it would be great to meet a couple times for her to get familiar/comfortable with you. If near Green Bay, will also include/pay for a couple one-on-one lessons with the trainer we have been working with the past couple months. We aren't handing her off to just anyone...want her to have a person/family that will give her the time she needs and love her as much as us. Breaks our heart but we cannot take anymore chances with our cat and now a baby on the way.
