About Iona

Adoption Fee: $200
Pit Bull / American Staffordshire Terrier
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Colorado springs, CO This is Iona and I am looking for her forever home. Shane and I took Iona in about 4 months ago. She was found on the streets in Manitou Springs, sick, emaciated, and very weak. We took her to the vet and found out she had parvovirus. We were told that's there a 50/50 chance she would live. My goals for Iona were to get her back to heath and find her a good home, a family that wouldn't leave her on the streets and give her unconditional love and care. She started to become a part of the family and the thought of parting with her bacme harder and harder every day. Iona has a lot of energy. She is extremely driven.. we believe she is a little over a year old: the vets couldn't give us an exact age just a ball park which ranged from 6 months to 2 years old. Iona needs a lot of mental stimulation to tire her out. She is great dogs: has been living with two other pitbulls , she is good with kids and other dogs... recently she has been showing aggression towards my other female, which is the reason for this post. I really want to find a good home and family for her... she has been through so much and I don't want her to go through that again. Shane and I have given her the best care we can. She is up to date on her shots. We've been taking her to bijou animal hospital. She is spayed! If you or know of anybody looking to adopt this beautiful sweet girl please let me know. There is going to be an adoption fee to insure she is going to a good home.
