About Ray Charles

Ray Charles is a precious boy who came to us from a local shelter. He was a staff favorite because of his wonderful attitude despite his horrific condition. Ray was completely emancipated and starving. His bones showed all over his sweet little body and he was in pretty bad shape. We are happy to report that Ray is doing awesome!! He's put on weight and is a happy boy! He enjoys playing with his foster siblings (also pit bull mixes) and loves the attention his foster moms gives him. Unfortunately he is Heartworm positive BUT he's already started his slow kill treatment and his vet is very optimistic that after a few treatments, he'll be Heartworm free.
