About Kenai

Kenai was picked up as a stray and taken to high=kill Carson shelter in SoCal. He was so afraid of the noisy shelter that he spent all his time hiding under his bed trying to get away from everything and everyone. He has been with us for several months now, and is totally socialized and ready for a home of his own. He is a beautiful long-hair red husky, so there will be extra grooming involved in keeping this young boy the beauty that he is. He is easily bored, so needs to be in a home with another dog of similar age (preferably female, although he shares space with 2 other boys). He will not be happy as an only dog-he loves the companionship of his own kind, but is super super sweet with his human too! Very affectionate, knows to sit for his meals and cookies, Kenai would be a great addition to an active family!
