About Catia

From her large perked ears to her perpetually wagging tail, cute 8-pound Catia, saved from the hoarding situation in New Mexico, is understandably shy with new people and children. But thanks to time and patience combined with the company and guidance of the other dogs in her foster home, she's been blooming. Not only is she now the most loving and snuggly of little lap dogs, who thrives on pets, belly rubs and chest scratches, she's extremely frisky, favoring stuffed animals, toys and ropes, and has even begun to play fetch. Very gentle, with a passion for all things soft -- from blankets and sweater to doggy beds - she answers to her name, knows 'come' and 'no', and being motivated by food, toys and attention, is pee pad trained, and at work on both her leash and housetraining. Now what cuddly Catia needs is a patient home, preferably with other canine companions, to continue building her confidence, complete her education and keep her well loved fur-ever.
