About Cruz

Cruz is a 1.5 year old chihuahua mix pup who is looking for a loving forever home. Cruz was adopted from us as a young pup, and sadly made his way back to the county shelter. We quickly went and scooped him up and brought him back with us to find him his true happily ever after. He has been waiting 9 months for his new forever home (as of 11/2018) Cruz is a spunky boy with a little sass, who can be a bit standoffish when first meeting new people. But once he knows you he is so sweet, loves to give kisses, has a cute silly personality and an all around great boy. When Cruz was a young pup with us, he got scared before his neuter and bit a vet tech. For this reason, Cruz needs a home with no children under 18 years of age. Cruz is great with other dogs his size, but would need to meet any dogs in the home before going home to ensure it is a good fit :) . Cruz weighs in at 12 pounds and is full grown. This fun loving boy loves toys and loves to run, so he would do well with an active couple that have a yard he can run circles in, or someone who would take him on short hikes. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, licensed, and vet checked. His adoption fee is $160. His adoption fee includes a free vet visit as well as 30 days of free pet insurance. To meet him come to our shelter location 1102 W Hatcher Rd open Tuesday to Sunday 11-6. Call for locations on weekend as we have off site adoption events that some dogs attend.
