About Luna

Luna is a very loving, submissive, and playful dog. She has a lot to learn but has made so much progress in the 3 months we have had her. She's good with kids but needs to be supervised since she is still kid herself, she doesn't understand how much bigger and stronger she is than them. She can get really worked up and overly excited when the kids are playing. As a result, kids get scared and mistaken her playful gestures as aggression. She has not been socialized as much as we would like, so at the moment, unless the dog is very small, she is not good with other dogs. Luna still requires a lot of patience and constant re-directing. She enjoys playing with ropes, balls, and any toy she can get her teeth on. She absolutely love bedtime... if prompted, she will take her own blanket to bed with her! Unfortunately, I live far form her as I am finishing up grad school. My partner recently got a new job and requires him to be away form home more then he would like. Luna is left alone for most of the day. She needs more attention that he can give her due to his new job. We are heartbroken to have to re-home her, but Luna deserves more than we can give her.
