About Rusty

Meet Rusty. He's a Border Collie mix, a little bigger than a full Border, maybe will be 55-60lbs once he is well fed and healthy. We think he is 9 months to a year old. At first we affectionately called him Rusty Roo, then Russell Crowe because he is so handsome. Now he is Russell Stover because he is just so darn sweet! Rusty is super adorable, friendly, loves people, great with other dogs and already mostly house trained. Not sure how he is with cats. Will be a great hiking buddy but also a couch snuggle bug. Rides well in a car. He knows the sit command and come. He is eager to please and learn. Rusty was rescued from euthanasia at a shelter in New Mexico Once Rusty is fully vetted he will be ready to go to his forever home. All animals adopted from us are fully vetted including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test and deworming.
