The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, have lived their entire lives in less than ideal conditions so will need to be house and leash trained. Most have never lived in house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground after living for years on wire until they arrive at our main facility where they are evaluated, groomed and given vet care. However, they will learn with time, love, patience and most of all, commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion Hi! My name is Cookie and I am an adorable Chihuahua girl puppy who was born 9/28/18 and I weigh 2 pounds. I was born in a home where there were over 50 Chihuahuas and the lady who owned us died. We were very lucky and were rescued and brought to this great place where it's warm and there is lots of good food. Now I am looking for my furever home! I need a full-time parent to teach me and children over 10 years old would be fine with me. If you are looking for a spunky, sweet little Chihuahua, please ask for me on your application.
