About Max

Max is 9.5 years old. I've had him for eight years. I acquired him through a family who trains horses, who acquired him because someone abandoned him on their property. He is a protective dog, does not always take well to new comers into a home. I believe he should have a private owner. Max is very strong. He never learned to walk on a leash. He likes schedules: when to eat, get a treat, go outside and go to bed. If I am not going to bed at the same time, he'll look for me, he picks up his toys & puts them away. What a good boy! He's gets excited when 'going someplace'... whether it's to dog care, McDonalds for an ice cream cone (he thinks that a drive thru means he will get something), for a drive or a dog park. I enjoy his antics. Oh, he's very entertaining. Max sings along with some of his toys, esp. chirping birds. If I could load a video - you'd hear him. He deserves a loving home. Max has a fatty tumor on his back.
