Bio: Fabulous Zoey, just look at this amazing girl, all 125lbs of pure love muffin. Zoey came to us as an owner surrender and turned out to be heartworm positive. She has now completed treatment and is in the market for her forever home. This girl loves her people and her 'pack' of dogs that she knows very well. Outside dogs need to be introduced VERY slowly or Zoey will not handle it well and more than likely will go after them. She will never be the type of dog that can go to dog parks or be allowed to meet new dogs randomly. That being said, she is great with her fur siblings that live with her at the foster home. They all cuddle, play together and free feed without any aggression. Zoey is housebroken; crate trained and walks well on a leash. She is a giant couch potato but when given the chance, but also gets the 'Dane Zoomies' and acts like a crazy fool running all over. Zoey also knows 'sit' and 'shake'. Zoey needs a very strong owner and one that absolutely has large breed experience. It will also be required that she go to a home with a fully fenced in yard, preferably with a 6ft fence for her safety. Because Zoey has completed Heartworm treatment she will need to remain on Hearthguard for the remainder of her life, this is non-negotiable. She will also be adopted out with a special clause in her contract regarding ongoing care. A home visit will also be required with this girl to make sure that the prospective home fits Zoey's needs.
