About Alvin is adorable!

Alvin is an adorable senior Chihuahua/ MinPin mix we rescued from the high kill shelter in Carson. We are estimating him to be around 9 years old, but don't tell him that. He is full of life and has great energy, speeding up stairs with no problem, and really enjoying himself on walks outdoors with his people. Alvin is not rambunctious; he just really loves life and exploring the world around him. He's small enough to be good in an apartment or a small home, and would be great for someone who works from home or for a senior. He walks great on a leash, and seems well socialized, as he's had very successful meet and greets with all the dogs he's been exposed to so far, both large and small. Alvin doesn't have any destructive habits or behaviors, and is not an excessive barker. Most importantly, this little guy is a people dog. He is so comfortable around all people - men, women and children alike. He loves his foster family's five year old daughter and follows her around all day, so he'd make a great addition to a home with children. As an added bonus, he's even adjusting well to his foster family's cat. He's had his health check with our vet, got a clean bill of health, and even had his teeth cleaned too. He's housetrained, neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped. Alvin is such a little love bug and will shower you with affection and gratitude if given the chance.
