Rocky 7 yrs old Mastiff/Boxer Mix Blind 95 lbs Dog Friendly No crates No cats Fostered in Sandy, OR Hi there, Rocky is in the house! I'm an extraordinary, one of a kind guy - a big, handsome, Mastiff/Boxer. I'm also blind but that isn't the most important part of my life and it doesn't slow me down that much. I do need a little extra time to adapt to new places and to meet new dogs but I've only been in my foster home for a week and I can navigate around the main rooms, find the water, the sofas and dog beds. I love to be around my people and if I hear your voice, I will find you no matter where you go. I've made friends with the 5 Boxers who live here and we roam outside together. I like being outside and exploring the smells. My foster mom takes me on walks and I really enjoy them it! I love people - you can pet me, scratch me and love on me for hours and I won't complain. I'm also a lap dog - at least in my own mind! Note from foster mom: Rocky is a giant love bug. He sleeps through the night on his bed, and knows sit, down and off. He walks pretty well on a leash - when he smells or hears something interesting, he can pull hard but will redirect. His senses of smell and hearing are excellent. He loves kids but because of his size and lack of sight, they should be older. He's looking for a forever family who will give him the extra time he needs to settle into his new home and be supportive in new situations and at least one fur sibling for companionship and to take clues from. He will benefit from having his family home a lot of the time. Once he gets used to his environment you really forget that he is blind. No cats and no crates.
