About Missy

Missy came into our group when we were contacted by her owner who no longer wanted her. Missy's owner informed us that he was going to euthanize her because she had had another litter of puppies, as if that was her fault! We took her in and had her spayed and vetted. Due to a lack of proper preventative care, Missy tested positive for both Ehrlichia (a tick infection) and Heartworm. She is under treatment for both and is thriving. She is listed as 'special needs' as she does need to continue with her meds to ensure recovery. She loves people but has not been around children. She loves going for long walks and believes that she makes the perfect lap dog!
