About Emmie Lou

Emmie Lou is a 4yo female Pit Bull mix who was rescued as a very thin stray in Mississippi. Friendly, well-socialized, happy temperament. Very outgoing, loves all people, never meets a stranger. Indifferent to cats, but doesn't love other dogs and prefers to be an only dog. Great with kids and recommended for children 6 years and older. Medium-high energy level outside, quiet and well-mannered in the house. Crate trained and housebroken. Obeys basic commands. Loves to be with her people. Good on a leash, rides great in the car. When she first came to us, Emmie Lou had heartworms but she was treated and cured and is now ready for adoption. Healthy and fully vetted, current on shots, spayed, weighs about 55 pounds. AWESOME young dog will make a wonderful companion (and jogging partner!) for an active family who loves the breed.
