About Baloo

Meet Baloo. He is a 3.5 year old, 140 pound purebred Rottweiler, he is current on all vaccinations and neutered. He loves humans (except delivery drivers), babies are his favorite. He's a big ham who loves to ride in the car and go for walkies, loves belly rubs and snuggling on the couch. He's an excellent guard dog, but he is also good with everyone you invite into your home. We adopted him a few months ago, he went into training at Dog Star Ranch and did well there. He knows all basic commands such as: sit, wait, down, up, shake, and stay (most of the time). He is usually well behaved on a leash, we use a head harness and the only time he pulls is when he ~really~ wants to sniff or pee on something. He is crate trained, and has no issues going into the crate. The only issue we have with him -- the reason we are rehoming him -- is that he recently attacked and injured our other dog. He is a very dominant dog, and despite the other dog in the home being extremely submissive to him, he ultimately could not live peacefully. Considering his size, it is unsafe for him to be in a home with other animals. He has never shown aggression towards humans (except delivery drivers) and he had a cat companion in his former home, but I would still not recommend any other animals in the home.
