About Elliott

Hey there, my name is Elliott and I am a 1.5 year old (as of Sept 2018) 55lb pit bull mix that loves to play and run! Since entering my foster home, I have learned lots of tricks and manners that makes even a big dog like me more respectful and enjoyable to be around! I sit before leaving my crate, before going through doors, and before I get my food. Besides 'sit', I also know 'down' and 'place' and my foster family says I do great on a leash! I am crate trained and house trained. I have lots of energy, so my ideal family would be one that keeps me active. Maybe I could be someone's running partner or a friend to another dog to run in the backyard with! I love all sizes of dogs, but would probably do better with larger dogs that aren't too small to handle my athletic self. I have done well with respectful young children (ages 9+) but not sure about smaller ones since I've never met one. I am a playful young guy who needs a confident owner that will keep up my training so I don't fall into bad habits. I do really well under structure, and I am so loving and devoted to my owner.
