About Mia

Mia is a loving, well behaved female Black Lab (mix?). She is about 2 yrs. old and spayed. She was emaciated when I found her wandering a back road. She had a bad UTI and is on medication, under a vet's care and now has a current rabies shot. She's a large dog, only weighs about 68 lb. but she is gaining weight and looks better already. Mia's very willing and a quick learner, gets along well with other dogs and is quickly learning to tolerate cats. She's very playful, but respectful of my crippled dog and my other senior dog. We would love to keep her but have 13 rescue animals already (many of them are special needs animals) and we do not have a fenced yard so she is practically living in a large crate, not a good situation for a young active dog. I believe she is very adoptable and will make someone a wonderful companion. I don't have the money to have her heartworm tested but I've been in contact with a foundation that will sponsor her to get heartworm tested and all shots.
