About Arizona

Arizona is a smart, playful young guy who likes to go on long walks where he can sniff everything in sight. When he's not out on adventures, he likes to chew on his toys or nap on the couch / stare at his humans. He's a good listener and quick learner. It only took him a couple days to adjust to our house. He had an accident on the first night (which we're used to with dogs straight out of the shelter) but then never again. He can be inappropriate when meeting new people because he's so excited, (like jumping and nipping at the bottom of their shirt), but it only seems to happen when he's meeting people for the first time. He doesn't jump on me when I come home or let him out of his crate. He is crate trained and eats all of his meals in his crate. He sometimes whines when we crate him but doesn't bark. He rarely barks in general. Arizona loves playing with chew toys and squeaker toys. Tug-o-war. He has a basket of toys in our living room that he pulls from when he's bored. He sleeps in bed with us or at the foot of the bed. He's still learning his manners and needs a forever home that can stay consistent with his training. He'd do best in a home with kids 12+ and no cats. This pet is currently available for adoption from a foster home.
