SAY HELLO TO MERCEDES ! Mercedes is a gorgeous 5 year old red coated Miniature Pinscher girl. Weighing in at just 9 pounds, this pint sized beauty is sure to make a wonderful new family member to your home. Mercedes came to us through no fault of her own. She was surrendered to us as her prior owner was going through a relationship break up and was moving. Sadly for Mercedes, she could not be a part of the move. This little girl is just so sweet and friendly. She is very gentle when she approaches and you and wants nothing more than to just be with someone who will spoil her and give her the stability of a soft voice, a warm bed, plenty of belly rubs and toys to play with. She gets along with everyone that she meets and will make a great pet for just about anyone. She gets on well with her foster mates and would enjoy having another smaller dog that is of the same size, age and calm personality. Mercedes rides well in the car and walks great on her leash. She greets all she meets when outside so sweetly. We are being consistent with her house training, however she will need gentle guidance and patience to complete it. Mercedes would thrive as the only dog in your home or with a family that has another passive friendly dog similar in size and age. Mercedes has not been tested with children, so she would do well with a family of adults or adults with children who have mot only gentle hands, but experience, respect and an understanding of petite dogs like Mercedes - she is just 9 pounds - likely children over the age of 10. Mercedes is a low maintenance, shorter coated breed that will require regular weekly brushing as well as baths as needed. Regular nail trims and ear cleaning could be done very inexpensively with a qualified reputable groomer. Mercedes's adoption fee is $ 225.00 This fee includes her Veterinarian Wellness checks while here at the rescue, her spay, all vaccinations including rabies and bordatella, de-worming, a pre-adoption professional groom and a microchip with lifetime membership. Mercedes will also have a new collar and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality grain free kibble that she has been eating.
