SAY HELLO TO VITTLES ! Vittles is an absolutely adorable 2 year old Shih Tzu / Lhasa Apso mix girl. Weighing in at just 14 pounds, this little lady is one of the favorites here at the rescue. This little fluffball is an overly happy, enthusiastic Shih Tzu who loves everyone that she meets and wants everyone to be her friend! Vittles is a happy go lucky, fearless and curious little angel. She just makes you smile and no matter how bad of a day you may have had, Vittles will wipe all of that away! Vittles is more active than the 'average' Shih Tzu but has the sweet temperament that Shih Tzus are known for. She has a whole lot of puppy energy and wide eyed innocence in her! Vittles walks so well on her leash and is the center of attention where ever she goes. She rides nicely in the car and is very curious of the sites and sounds. She does pretty well with her housetraining, but like all new little ones to a new family, she will need gentle guidance and patience as she learns the ropes of your schedule. Vittles dislikes being crated, so if that is part of your family's routine, Vittles is not the one for you! Vittles has not been tested with kids, but we think she would be fine. We are seeking a family of adults or adults with kids over the age of 10 with gentle hands, respect and experience with small breed dogs. Vittles gets on so well with all her foster mates. She would be a wonderful pal for a family that has a small breed like her that is the same in size, age and loving active personality. Vittles is a longer coated breed that will require regular weekly brushing and professional grooming every 6 to 8 weeks to keep that gorgeous coat looking stunning! Vittles's adoption fee is $ 450.00 This fee includes her Veterinarian Wellness checks while here at the rescue, her spay, all vaccinations including rabies and bordatella, de-worming, a pre-adoption professional groom and a microchip with lifetime membership. Vittles will also have a new collar and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality grain free kibble that she has been eating. Her adoption fee also allows us the ability to put funds towards the next little one in need of rescue!
