About Luna

Luna is a sweet loving gal. She turned 3 years old on November 10th. She was signed over to us over 2 and half years ago. She was then adopted out to what was supposed to be her forever home. That person could no longer keep her and instead of contacting us as the contract states he signed her over to a shelter in his town. That shelter then failed to scan her for a chip and contact us also. She was adopted out within a few days of being at that shelter. On October 10 of this year she was picked up by their animal control who said she was not microchipped. They took her to the vet to be spayed and the vets office found her spay scar and her microchip. We were contacted by the vets office. We then contacted the shelter who was not going to release her to us. We finally came to an agreement that Luna should be returned. It was when we arrived at the shelter that more of the truth came out. With the help of shelter employees once the entire truth was out as to they were the ones who adopted her out and failed to notify us a year ago we were able to contact the adopters landlord. He informed them that Lunas adopter passed away. Someone either her family or the landlord let Luna loose. We are not sure as to how long she was on the run before she was picked up by animal control. She is back on puppy food to help her gain some much needed weight and she is gaining daily. Luna is spayed and up to date on all her shots. She is microchipped. She is looking for a loving home. She gets along with all other animals and kids. She likes to curl up on the couch but likes her play time. She will be required to have a fenced in yard. Could you be this girls forever home and a the best birthday present she could ever want.
