Scarlett was pull from a local kill shelter. She was there over 6 weeks and still only weighed 56 lbs, had open woundss on her legs and had not been posted for rescue or adoption. She was languishing in that shelter and most likely would have died very soon. We took her in, treated her for her wounds, treated her for hookworm infestation, treated her for heartworms, got her spayed and a large non-cancerous lump removed from her back. She now weighs 105 lbs and is healthy, happy, lively girl. She will still need a little leash training and manners training, but she has come a loooong way from when we first took her in. If you would like to meet Scarlett, please email us at [email protected] and tell us a little about your home and family.
