About Cain

Cain is a large, handsome 5-year-old German Shepherd who has been taught several commands and who likes to please. He is independent and does not seek a lot of hugs or cuddles. On the other hand, he loves toys and will thrive with an owner who will throw a ball and play fetch with him every day. He gets along with older children who respect his space. He is healthy, housebroken, and crate trained, and he loves being in the car. While he is not aggressive around other dogs, he does not seek out their company, and he would probably be most comfortable as an only pet. Once you gain his trust, he is friendly, loyal, and obedient. Cain is waiting for the right person to see through his gruff exterior and appreciate the soulful spirit within.
