This little pitbull is full of love and energy. The one thing she wants is to be close to her people - she loves cuddling, and she's always curious about what we're up to around the house. She is learning boundaries, though, and she can sleep through the night in her spot next to our bed. (If she had her wish, she'd sleep ON the bed). She is also starting to learn hand signals, and quickly picked up on how to sit. Taako is great with other dogs - very social and playful. However, some dogs get frustrated when they can't tell her to stop (since she can't hear them). She'd do very well in a home with another dog who was happy to cuddle with her, and could politely tell her 'no.' Taako was found as a stray in Brooklyn, NY, and we discovered she had been abandoned by a backyard breeder because of her disability. We are hoping to find her a forever home, or at least a foster who can care for her, since my partner and I do not have capacity for any more animals in our apartment. We had her vaccinated and spayed ourselves, to help her her changes at finding a home.
