About Maggie

Maggie is an extremely happy go lucky loving dog. She loves to snuggle and will let you know when she wants attention. She is VERY smart and is very good at communicating her needs. She sits on command very well. Maggie is VERY energetic and needs acres of land to run freely on. She is an escape artist and has gotten out of our fence, rope, and harness. She is great with kids and just about loves everyone she meets. She chases cats and barks at them, but only because she wants to play, she's never hurt our cats and if she is sleeping she will welcome a kitty snuggle. Due to a high stress medical situation, we are just not able to care for her. She is continuously putting herself in danger by running off, and we fear that she will get hit by a car or attacked by impatient neighbors. She craves lots of love, attention and would do best in a farm like environment - I don't think a fence is going to keep her from her curious nature and need to explore. She is an absolute joy, has great character, is super loving and snuggly. We love her very much we just simply can't give her the life she needs and deserves.
