About Ricky

This guy is Ricky. He is a 6 months old purebred Australian Cattledog whose people love him but have a medical situation that requires he find a new home. Ricky weighs about 25-30 pounds at the moment and will grow more since he is just a kid. Ricky is said to be a very good boy who likes to learn and wants to please. He is already house trained. He is good in the car and likes to camp. He does pull on the leash, just because he is excited to go on an adventure. Ricky knows sit, stand back, and come. He is ready to learn more. Ricky been around a few teens and did well, but we will not place him with small kids, just because he does have the standard Cattledog tendency to protect his people. Ricky loves to play fetch and knows to let it go when asked. Ricky lives with a small dog and does well. Like all Cattledogs, he is likely best with dogs his size and larger ... or with a mellow small dog. Ricky has corrected his small dog sibling when the small dog tried to eat from Ricky's bowl. I would have done the same! Ricky is a loyal and good dog. He loves to cuddle and really seeks to please his people. Ricky is being neutered before adoption. He is vaccinated, too. He is ready for his forever home. He is currently located in Fallbrook. We do not ship our dogs, so an approved adopter will need to be able to come to Fallbrook to adopt. A home visit and vet reference are required.
