About Mr

Mr is a handsome, sweet and loving four to five-year-old, 16-pound, male brown tabby cat looking for a loving guardian. Poor Mr showed up on the doorstep of an animal hospital in April. He was just skin and bones weighing only seven pounds. He was so weak he could barely stand up and was even too weak to eat on his own. He was like a stick figure. A vet tech at the animal hospital took it upon herself to nurse the sweet cat back to health. She would give him fluids and vitamins daily. She would hold him in her arms rock and talk to him each night. She would tempt him with pieces of turkey and anything she could find that he would enjoy. When the vet tech was eating a cracker one day and she dropped a crumb on the floor, Mr dove for it! That was the turning point. He has now plumped up to 16 pounds and is perfectly healthy and ready for a home of his very own. He loves to sit in the laps of adults. He has no love for children, other cats or dogs. He wants a human all to himself. He is neutered, has all his claws, micro-chipped, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, de-wormed and virus-tested negative.
