About Smokey

Smokey is an 8 year old neutered male Maine Coon mix. He was originally adopted at a few weeks old as a stray. His former owner was an elderly lady who passed away recently. The family was not able to keep him because their cats did not get along with him. He loves to be held and played with and is still very social. Although he is large, as Maine Coons usually are, he is not aggressive at all. He does well with children but would also do well in a slower paced home. With his former owner, he lived with two other cats for many years, although it is unknown how well he would acclimate to new cats.
