About Gabby

Gabby, a 7 year-old German Shepherd whose owner passed away, unfortunately ended up at a kill shelter and ran out of time. An AKC-registered purebred GSD w/ papers, she is very sweet and loving, wonderful temperament with people, but not dogs or cats. She weighs approx. 65 lbs. She is housetrained, walks well on a leash, and loves to cuddle. She needs to go to a home with no other animals and only older, respectful children. Her fee has been reduced to $300 Some info from her foster mom; She does not get on furniture, loves car rides, very affectionate, very food motivated, excellent on a leash- matches her pace to yours, she will chase rabbits-squirrels &cats, very friendly to all people she meets, she will nibble on your fingers looking for treats, does not bark much at all, does not like being put in a crate, does not display any destructive behaviors at all, fully house trained, does needs to go to the bathroom about every 2-3 hours during the day, she likes to sleep on an elevated bed, knows some basic commands. UPDATE:She has just been diagnosed Cushings Disease, which has to do with an abnormal cortisol production in her adrenal glands and is treatable with medication to normalize her.
