About Maxx

Maxx is a German Shepherd with no papers. He is a big boy with arthritis and he also has an ear irritation. He is approx.8-9 years old. I am needing to find him someone who would like to and be able to help him with his health problems. I have tried the arthritis medication and it seems to help him quite a bit, but it is not a cheap medicine. I am a senior citizen and only have a small social security income. I don't have the money to treat his medical conditions and as a senior citizen I do not have the strength to care for him anymore. I hate to see him suffer with his medical conditions. At first he was very loyal to my husband but since he has passed away Maxx has become very loyal and protective of me. He is a great security system. For some reason he has developed a response to everybody that comes into the house to bark at them. He has a very loud bark and it has become very hard for me to get him to stop barking. If he doesn't see them come into the house he starts barking. If you would be interested in helping me find him a home that can care for him for a few more years it would be greatly appreciated. I hate the thought of having to put him down or to have a pound just go and put him down. He is really a very wonderful guy. He loves to love you and to be loved. Hoping someone will respond to my post. If I receive no inquiries my only alternative will be for me to put him down.
