About CHACO

Chaco is a 4 yr old handsome boy, who weighs in at 12 lbs. Of course I can tell you he is sweet, loving, and adorable.. but lets hear it from the Foster...the one that KNOWS him and his life up til now. Straight from the Foster...all about Chaco. 'Chaco came to us after being neglected for a very long time... He had not been groomed in almost 1 1/2 yrs and had been living outside in the Arizona heat. After being rescued, getting groomed, vetted and neutered, he became a member of our human, canine, and feline family. Every person, dog and even the cat in our home loves his sweet personality, charming walk and ability to snuggle all night. Chaco allows all of the animals to give him kisses, even the cat. He is very well behaved, will walk on a leash and easily allow us to pick him up. He is familiar with his crate and doesn't mind going in it. He really doesn't know how to play with toys, but he is trying to learn. Since he was recently groomed (after a very long time), he especially likes to be pet and will beg for more. However, since he had never really been in a house and was recently neutered, he is just learning the difference between going potty outside and not inside. He rarely barks, even when all the others are barking a chorus! Chacos fur is silky soft and will grow back into a beautiful coat of lovely poodle/maltese fur, the color of snow. He is absolutely a delightful boy!' Of course, Chaco will need to be an INDOOR dog, and Regular grooming is a must too. We do not want him to have to re-live the life he had at the beginning. He is current on DHPP, Rabies shot, de-wormed, micro-chipped and Neutered. Chacos adoption fee is set at $250.00 If you are interested in Chaco, PLEASE complete a application. Most everything we know about our dogs is in the bio..so please read it so you know what the dog is like and if it will fit your life style. Once an application is received, it will go in that dogs file for review. IF you are chose for Chaco you will get a call for him and have 3 hours to respond (if we get your answering machine) before we go to the next person of interest. If you are NOT chosen, your application stays on file for 90 days and it is good for any of the other dogs you like with us.
