Hi friends! Stella is almost a year old. She has lived with myself, my son, and our Doberman pinscher since she was a kitten. She does really well with dogs and has grown to love mine which is why this is so sad. We had a Siamese male kitten shipped to us from the east coast and she has been very aggressive with him. To the point he's very stressed out. We've tried pheromones and they haven't worked. We've separated them and reintroduced them slower and it didn't work. I've taken her to the vet and had blood work and an exam done to rule out illness. The vets conclusion is this is just behavioral and we could try Prozac. I think for her sake, she would be better off in a single cat household. She is not destructive. She's pretty independent however she always likes to be in the same room as my son and I. She will cuddle and show affection on her terms. She sleeps with my son almost every night. She is great with her litterbox if you do basic clumping litter. We tried pine and she was not happy with this. I'd like to see her in a home with kids because she loves them however I think she would bond wonderfully with a single person who has dogs. She will also need to be placed with someone very in tune with the personality of Siamese cats. Have a great day!
