About Lilly

Lilly is a sweet, friendly and lovable, two-year-old, 54-pound, female blue and white pit bull terrier with a long tail and cropped ears looking for a loving guardian. Someone cropped her ears so she'd look tough, but Lilly loves being pet and her tail is always happily wagging. She's not much of a ball player, but she loves going on walks. Her tail starts to wag as soon as she sees her leash. Since she just arrived, she hasn't had a lot of interaction with other dogs. However, on leashed walks, she has been un-reactive on leash towards other dogs. Lilly knows the command sit and takes treats gently from your fingers. This lovely dog was turned into a southern Illinois shelter after she had a litter of puppies. Sadly, after 90 days, it was either go to a rescue or be euthanized. Luckily a caring volunteer offered to fund her kennel stay and vet bills if Lucky Dog Rescue took her in. She is now safe, very healthy, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, de-wormed, heartworm-tested and on monthly heartworm preventative.
