About Norman

Norman is a 4-year-old purebred redbone coonhound. He is happiest with a comfy spot to sleep during the day, with plenty of opportunities to run outside when he can. He is an excellent guard dog and shows tremendous hunting capabilities, though he hasn't been trained for it. He is our family pet and is totally housebroken and potty trained. He has lived with our two small children but has experienced increased anxiety since we had kids. He shows a strong desire to hunt that we cannot satisfy for him, and his anxiety around the noise and chaos of our children has become hard for us all. We are seeking a new home for him without small children and with the ability to be outside and, ideally, have a chance to hunt as he was bred to do. Norman is healthy, handsome; loyal, friendly, and sweet.
