About Dexter

Hey there - I'm Dexter - nice to meet you! I'm a 1 year old (estimated) male terrier mix and I love to play and go on new adventures. I'm very smart and am looking for a family in Massachusetts! I came from a place called a 'high kill shelter' in Texas but fortunately someone saw how wonderful I am and took me out of that awful place. I'm definitely an energetic pup so I will need some good exercise each and every day. I would LOVE a fenced yard to romp and play in. I get along well with other small dogs, but would be happy as an only as well. My rescue tells me that small children might be too much for me, but older kids would be fine. I am still learning basic manners, particularly how not to mouth at people when they are playing with me. I love to play and will be happy to have someone to play with me and snuggle with me, that's all I really need! Are you the one for me? Adoption fee is $450, which includes spay/neuter, microchip, USDA transport, vaccines, health certificate and Massachusetts mandatory animal quarantine.
